Many Angolan web sites deal with either politics or news - perhaps not surprising given the ongoing civil war. What is perhaps surprising is that you can tune into the national radio service online, or keep up to date with what's happening on the arts scene. The official language is Portuguese, but most sites are available in English. There are a number of private ISPs but coverage is by no means national at the moment as the war has devastated the country's telecoms infrastructure.
